Has anyone had a thyroid biopsy and have pain in back of neck, shoulder and arm and the same side as biopsy? Is this normal? Swallowing is also painful but was told that would be normal.
Hey, I had a thyroid biopsy in 2019 and felt fine, wouldn't even know they'd done it but following a routine check up they wanted to biopsy again and it was a lot more painful this time around, couldn't move my neck, swallowing, coughing, yawning, talking etc was all quite uncomfortable. Almost a week later and I still have the uncomfortable feeling and it's as if something is lodged in my throat. I will wait until it's been a full week and if still the same I'll call 111 to speak to a nurse. Maybe you should try the same too? Sorry this probably isn't overly helpful but I can relate.
