Hello everyone. I noticed a black line on my second toenail back in March/April of last year. I ignored it until after Christmas. It's still there and it has grown quite a lot. My whole toenail bed is pretty much covered now. I asked the pharmacist and she told me to see the GP as soon as possible. The GP took one look and said I was being referred to the dermatologist within two weeks. I got the appointment a week later and then I met with the plastic surgeon four days later. I'm having my nail and nail bed removed for biopsy on Monday. I'm actually more anxious over the biopsy. The pain etc. The results will be what they will be I guess. I may change my mind after though. I've been told it can take 6 weeks for the results. Has anyone had their results sooner and any recommendations with looking after my toe, once it's done?
