I'm really worried. So a few months ago I noticed a protruding bulge above my belly button. I ignored it at first thinking I had just put weight on but the more I look at it, it really does look like a round bulge just sticking out! I'm only 23 years old. I went to the doctor and she advised that she couldn't feel any enlarged organs etc but has referred me for an ultrasound anyway. The doctor I seen was a pre-reg and whenever I asked a question she said 'i don't know' so I left feeling not too confident. It doesn't feel like a lump but does stick out and is slightly hard. I'm just really worried. I've also never been pregnant and don't think it's diastasis recti. I also think the doctor would have been able to feel if it was a hernia so I'm freaking out.
