I was referred to rapid access for gynecology cancer suspected awaiting more scans and info as a result of mdt meeting but gynecologist said my bowels have alot of red flag symptoms and my gp has referred me of a urgent colorectal cancer pathway referral now. I cant believe it and am now so worried because i read there is a link with these cancers. I also got a referall to have a camera in my food pipe by gp not urgent though that referal. Has any one else been through this? To make my anxiety worse my consultant is late by three days with a phonecall with me to tell me whats happening, i know they had another mdt meeting today i wonder if that's why and he is so busy. Its a very worrying time as i can't have surgery down there.
