Awaiting colonoscopy

Hi I have an appointment for a colonoscopy on 25th February.  I feel that I have lots of red flag symptoms for colon cancer including frequent loose bowel movements for the last few weeks,  loss of appetite, I have had some blood in my stools and I have lost a few pounds in weight.  I have had bloods done and they were all normal, I'm not anaemic and liver and kidney function are good.  I have already diagnosed myself and have become incredibly anxious, unable to concentrate on anything else and struggling to eat and to sleep. I wondered if anyone who has been through this had any tips for managing anxiety while I wait for the appointment, and also how to cope if/when I get that diagnosis - I have a feeling that once I know it will be easier to deal with as the uncertainty is making me ill. My husband thinks it's all in my head and is struggling to support me, I'm worried about him too.  Any help would be appreciated.
