Last summer slight lower back ache, so bought a new mattress. Then car seat stated to feel uncomfortable, but too expensive to change. Then Sept ish found the cross over section of wide braces stated to give me bother and slight pain, so stopped wearing them, seemed like I removed the annoyance factor but still low level pain.
Late Oct moving a paving slab felt back go, again lower back, from there onwards pain kept increasing despite doing lots of stretching and strengthing exercises. But end of Nov Paracetamol and Ibruprfen not containing pain.
By this point was also aware that my appetite had decreased and felt full with very little food intake. Saw GP and onto CoCodimol, okay was prepared for typical side effects and took measure to ensure constipation did not take hold too easily.
Over Christmas and New Year again lots of pain could not get comfortable standing, sitting or laying down. Spoke 111 was advised to go to A&E seen by Physiotherapist who was very dismissive, why come to A&E with dbaf back, sent me away with sheet with same exercises I had been doing for 8 weeks or so.
Seen by GP again, in person rather than by phone, persribed Tramadol for pain, after one and being very sick had to stop them, back to CoCodamol.
So with a weight loss of some 15 KGS over 6 months and daily severe pain at times in tears, banging head, but a couple of times when the laxatives had emptied my bowel the pain went, retiring within an hour or so of eating again.
Friday evening bowel emptied and maged a good night, Sat very small breakfast,( toast) then only liquids until 7 pm ish and then a small amount of soup and one slce of toast.. I them suffered the worst night so far, loads of pain, Cocodamol, Ibuprofen and Diasipam not making any difference.
Finally fell to sleep after 2nd cycle of Cocodamol, got 4 hrs sleep. Woke up no pain. So here's the thing I have not eaten anything at all today, just eater, yea and coffee. Still no pain and have not had to resort to Ibuprofen as supplement.
Have done quite a lot of reading up on web, using NHS and Welmed sites as main sources.
I am concerned that although my GP did do bloods which on return showed all seemingly okay, on reading about Pancreatic Cancer blood test can not be relied on, I had discussed with GP about paying for a MRI or CT scan to see what is going on around my spine, lower back perhaps there is another reason why the pain is present. I have had a lookhere but could not find anything about diagnosis and peoples stories about their experiences.
Any help and advice welcome
