Suspected Head & Neck cancer

Hi all, I've been reading a lot of previous posts in here and it's been so helpful and in a weird way comforting knowing I'm not alone.

Has anyone been through what I'm going through right now .. I have 2 cyst looking lumps on my right tonsil with constant swelling since October, my Uvula (dangly thing at back of throat) is bending to the left and I have a 2cm lump in my neck which MRI picked up. I've had the camera up the nose and down the throat, an MRI and multiple blood tests but still no diagnosis.

I am due for a core biopsy on my neck Monday and then a tonsillectomy/ biopsy of the tonsil on Tuesday AM but after being swabbed for COVID and told to isolate now until my surgery I'll have to miss my neck biopsy. Surely this has been booked wrong and the hospital should of allowed time for both to be done within a few days due to having to isolate. They are both 2wk urgent referrals so need to be done. The receptionist at ENT has told me to still have surgery and then have my biopsy at another hospital a few days later?? I will be recovering, in a lot of pain and at high risk of infection but because everything is closed on the weekend I have had no luck getting any help on this matter. It has now stressed me out so much and worried me even more. I only recieved my appointment letters today.

Would I be wrong in rescheduling my tonsillectomy and just going for my neck biopsy on Monday instead ?

I'm so sorry for the long winded question, I'm only 29yrs old I work for the nhs and just don't know how to feel.

Has anyone been through the same experience?

Thank you in advance if anyone does reply xx
