Hi All,

I'm feeling really nervous. I'm 43 and mother to one child. I had CIN 3 removed by lletz a year ago and had a hpv negative smear 6 months later. Ive more recently had heavy periods and a raw, uncomfortable feeling around my cervix for the last 2 weeks (started mid cycle). I was examined by the GP two days ago and she told me it looks like I have cervical ectropian. She took swabs and has referred me back to colposcopy. 
Have any of you had ectropian after having lletz treatment and is this common? I'm scared she's mistaken and it's the abnormal cells (or worse) back! I really feel gutted to have to go though all this again.
I'd be really grateful for anyone's experience/thoughts on this please.
