I am so sorry to hear that your mum has been diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread to her chest and lymph nodes. I hope that you get more information soon as to the staging of her cancer. It is normal to feel overwhelmed with worry after getting this devastating news but unfortunately it isn't really easy for anyone here to give you an honest prognosis. Every individual case is different and your mum's specialist will be in the best position to tell you more about this.
