Breast lump and swollen lump node

Hi I've discovered a lump that's growing in my left breast and also I have two swollen lump nodes by my collar bone I have an appointment at the breast clinic on Thursday but to be honest I am scared out of my mind, will I find anything out on the day how long will it take to find anything out, I hate this waiting so much.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting on an appointment at the breast clinic later this week. I know that this period of waiting for an appointment can be worrying and it's natural to feel anxious about things. 

    You might find it helpful to have a look at this article on the Breast Cancer Now website. It may help answer some of your questions about what to expect at the appointment. 

    I'd also encourage you to give our team of nurses a call. I'm sure they will be able to give you some support and reassurance ahead of your appointment. If you'd like to speak to them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040. 

    Hopefully, the Consultant will be able to give you an indication of what's going on on Thursday. Do keep in touch and let us know what happens.
