Morning everyone.
I don't even really know what to say or where to start but I'll give it a good go.
9 years ago when I was 20 I was diagnosed with little lumps and bumps in my breasts, the doctor said "they are benign Tumors" nothing to worry about and sent me on my way, as of three days ago, I was in the shower checking out my lumps generally whilst washing and noticed a bigger one to the left of my left breast, and a little clear fluid coming from my nipple once dried out of the shower, the left breast in general has been so itchy and my left armpit but I've thought nothing of it. I ofcorse called the doctors suspecting an infection or cyst was called in right away (yesterday) she took some back history and said let's have a look, I laid down she checked the right first then concentrated on the left, her face seemed to drop and she had a good feel around my armpit and the area that joins to my breast and said get dressed come and take a seat, I did she said she discovered a rather big one to the left of my left breast and in my armpit and 3 off the big one. She ruled out infection something I was confident it was and cysts.
she did an urgent referral and said I'll hear from the breast clinic within the week.
I am 29 with 3 small children. I'm finding myself having to leave the room to cry a little, am I worrying over nothing? Is this precautionary?
thank you, Kim.
ps Larry is my new lump. Makes me smile instead of sad.
