Hello, 1st of January I noticed a lump (pea-size) at the anal opening, just left of it.
It was also painful, especially on straining.
There's no blood when I have a BM, the only symptom I have right now is this lump.

I figured it was either a haemorrhoid or a perianal haematoma, I am 24 years old, so it would be uncommon at my age but I quite commonly pass hard stool and often spend 20-30 minutes sitting on the toilet, mainly browsing my phone.

It's been 20 days since it started, I think the lump has gone down a little bit, but it is still very annoying. I don't have any pain anymore and increasing fibre in my diet seems to have helped somewhat.

When I strain I can feel the lump getting bigger if I touch it.

Is this something I should be worried about?
I am quite certain it is not cancer, but I am not sure what else it could be, it does not seem to go down?

Edit - The lump seems to have appeared over night, I did not feel the lump there before the morning of the 1st.
