For the past few months I've had an enlarged lymph node that would go down but returned recently and has spread to the other lymph nodes in my neck, and I also have other symptoms such as night sweats a low grade fever joint and ear pain and very swollen tonsils and now lumps at the back of my tongue, and there is now another lump forming on the opposite side of my neck on my lymph nodes- I've had a general blood test which I think was to test for infections at the doctors but the only thing they said was wrong was low vitamin D.
Because of all this I had an urgent referral to an ear nose & throat clinic and due to covid I was supposed to have only a phone consultation today but they never rang. I am convinced I have cancer, I literally woke up one day just as these new symptoms began feeling like something was wrong in my body, I even thought I was pregnant at first. Nobody else believes me since I'm only 19 and now with a new lump growing fast I am terrified, im also scared it will take months to even get tests run due to covid, I'm assuming the hospital was already too busy for my phone consultation today.
Is anyone else in the same situation? How long is it taking to get your referrals and biopsies? Also I'm so sorry if this is posted in the wrong topic, I wasn't really sure where to post and will delete if inappropriate...
