I would be shouting from the rooftops if I were you. This is totally unacceptable and I would raise it with your GP in order for them to chase up the specialists in your case. Please don't wait any longer, you need to know what this dark spot is.

A very warm welcome to our forum. I totally agree with all that Magpiemaggie has said, Ask your GP what this delay is likely to do if you do have cancer. If you haven't had your CT scan yet, ask for an urgent referral for this and another urgent referral back to oncology.

Thank you. I am going to call my GP when they open. They did tell me that it was nothing to worry about as it didn't 'light up' on a bone scan. Then told me at a follow up appointment it could be metastatic. I think I'll have to put a complaint in with PALS too.

Hi, I emailed a complaint to PALS on Thursday morning and they called me on the afternoon and booked an appointment for today. Coincidence? I also called my GP and she called me yesterday. There wasn't a lot she could do as the appointment was already booked. Pals will contact me in due course to discuss the length of time. I will call Oncology myself Monday to book an appointment.
