So it's been over two weeks since the Biopsy today I received a phone call from urology department saying I would get a further phone call on Thursday.
Is this standard procedure? as I just want to know and move on

I'm not sure if you've had your phone call yet today Garfy but if not I just wanted to wish you good luck and give you our cancer nurses telephone number in case you wanted to have a quick chat with them about this. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
Hopefully some of our members will share their experiences with you soon as well.
Kind regards,

When I had my biopsy for prostate cancer it was over a week before I got results. They will phone u and tell u the result, if clear u can just move on and will not after go back to hospital. If it's unclear they might call u back in for another biopsy. Try not to worry.Hope everything works out alright for you.All the best, john

Hi Garfy, i had my Biopsy on 18 Dec 2020 ( happy xmas ) The consultant was positive about my results in his own mind, and we discussed the situation with that in mind. I was given an injection ( hormone ) the same day to bring my PSA down ( 477 ), within 2 days i had a ct scan, 3rd day full bone scan. The Oncologist wasny until 06 jan, but evrything was confirmed. metatassies everywhere mostly up and down the spine. I'm waiting for a date to start Chemo, but i've been trying to get the covid jab before ! up to now unsuccessfully. Good luck with your results and any subsequent treatment.
