Had to cancel breast clinic appointment

Hi everyone

Annoyed to say the least had to cancel my breast clinic appointment tomorrow as my partner has tested positive for the dreaded covid!!!! Gutted to say the least as I've got to self isolate now. When I spoke to the hospital to cancel they said they will contact me in ten days

I'm just worried as my symptoms have got worse swollen collar bone lump on breast now and lump underarmpit and also swollen breast and dimple in breast skin.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had to cancel your appointment due to your partner's Covid diagnosis. It's obviously going to be a difficult few weeks for you whilst you're isolating and waiting for your appointment to be rescheduled.
It may help to try and keep in mind that the majority of women who attend breast clinic are not diagnosed with cancer. You also have age on your side. However, I know how difficult the waiting can be and so I wondered I you might find it helpful to talk to one of our nurses. I'm sure they will be able to offer you some advice and support whilst you're waiting.
