I've had the same symptoms. I was constipated for 3 days as in I needed to go but the stool wouldnt. Doctor put me on laxatives which helped and like yours the stool was big. I continued taking the laxatives for atleast 4 days after just to ensure. During this time the stool became thinner than usual, everything else was normal and I went everyday . I've now came off them and have noticed bright red blood in the stool, it's became more loose but not completely. There is black specks on the toilet paper. I'm noticing my stomach is growing a lot more too with pain but not a lot, am going to call my GP soon -  hoping it's IBS or hamerroids. Not so sure though since I remember having hamerroids the one time and it was associated with itchiness so :/ Good luck with your colonoscopy. Try not to worry as you're one step closer to finding out what it is and solving it.

thank you for your reply. The doctor examined my bottom and said he could see an hamerroids. For me the pulling feeling in my stomach/side is concerning me as I’m googling all day and night and think it’s a tumour growing. And then the fit test showing high amounts of blood. Probably yours is piles or hamerroids or a tear with being constipated.hope everything goes ok with the doctor

Atleast the blood aspect is cleared up for you, did you get any medication to help clear up the hamerroids? It's best to just wait and see what the colonoscopy says about the pulling feeling as google will say pretty much anything is cancer. Thankyou, will let you know what they say.

the doctor just gave me lactalous to take. It does work. I just keep thinking if it’s the ascending colon it’s normally advanced and apparently you don’t see blood with it because the colon on that side is larger. I’m going out of my mind worrying.

i had my colonoscopy and everything was fine. I have a phone consultation on Thursday with my doctor because I have still got this tight pulling feeling in my right side so I will see what he says. How are you doing? Hope your well xx

Glad to hear your colonoscopy showed no cancer. Hopefully the tight pulling is cleared up on Thursday, let me know. I have recently had 7 swollen lymph nodes pop up on the right side of my neck with no other sighs of infection so I'm seeing the doctor in the afternoon today to see what it is, I'll mention my bowel problems. Been so busy I've only just booked an appointment. x

Sorry for the late reply, hope all is well. I was booked in for bloods for suspected glandular fever on the 1st March, I decided to suck it up and wait. The lumps and bowel problems have eased off a bit but still cause for concern in my eyes and started feeling light headed a few days although that is a sign of glandular fever. Just going to have to wait and see what the blood tests show. Did you find out about the pulling in your stomach? x

Had the blood test - results come in 48 hours :)

Hi sorry only just seen the message. I had to go for an ultrasound on my kidneys which was fine but have shown an inflamed bowel and gallstones. well done going for the blood test. Hope your bowel problem is not as bad. Im sure everything will be fine xx

Morning, glad to hear it wasn't what you thought it was - must be a big stress relief. Have they gave you any medicine/advice for the gallstones and inflamed bowel. My bloods came back all normal but I didn't ask what it tested for and I didn't mention a few of my symptoms still persist so will book an appointment tomorrow to discuss. x
