Dent in Nipple

Hi I hope someone can put my mind at rest. 3 years ago I had total duct excision on my left breast following nipple discharge. Everything came back OK and after a few healing issues all has been well and although smaller the breast looked normal. Today I have noticed a dent on one side of my nipple looking like it's caved in along a central line of one half of the areola to the nipple. It wasn't like this before. I'm guessing my question is, is this likely because of the surgery all this time later or should I be concerned? There are no lumps or tenderness, no swelling etc. The dent is noticeable slightly when up right but very obvious when I lay down.

Hope someone can put my mind at rest and tell me it's just one of those things.
