Now all my simptoms are fatigue lost 3 stone and became majorly underweight I also am very sore while having sex and have had spot bleeding between monthly cycle I also have had long periods lasting 6 weeks at a time Loss off appetite for food pain in left side of stomach going through to my back like someone is twisting a knife I have also been struggling to get out of bed no energy at all. Has anyone had similar to me? Would be good to chat to someone let who has had similar simptoms to myself thank you

  • Hi did you ever get any answers?

I too am sore while having sex, I spot between every period, my periods have started to come 2 weeks apart and last up to 2 weeks, they have also become very heavy to the point that I'm leaking heavy flow tampons 3 per hour... I get cramps on my left side and lower left side of back, I've been for a smear and had blood taken and all normal which just leaves me baffled.

  • Hi Auto,

I too am waiting for a gynaecology appointment & it's a worry that I just can't shake. I had a smear reminder March of last year & due to the high demand at work with Covid & lockdown, I have only just had my routine smear last week. The nurse found a very large polyp in the neck of my cervix & asked my GP for an urgent referral. This was made but my appointment is 4 weeks away. I've had bleeding after intercourse for a while now but didn't think much of it. I've also had menstrual pains & lower backache recently too. I've had a coil fitted for nearly 6 years now & am currently on HRT for the menopause. I'm hoping it's nothing but can't help but worry too.
I do hope you have some good news soon x
