I have had an enema CT Scan on the 12th of Jamuary for pain on left handisde tummy and constipation. I have very low serum ferritin (anemia). A letter sent to my GP yesterday ( I saw on the Patient Access Webiste) says they have discharged me because there is no sign of cancer. However, when I talked to my GP, as she had detailed results, she said the scan was not really clear and had to be done again in 2 months time. After the scan, the radiographer said she had clear pictures. Also, I did a FIT test which was lost in the post. So now I have to do another one and, if test positive, I will need a colonoscopy. I had a moment of elation when I read the letter and then my anxiety rocketted again, soon afterwards. I am considering anti anxiety tablets now.
