Hello everyone, 

my son has had a lump on the back of his neck since December 18th. The doctor wasn't worried and told me to wait it out as it's common for children with viral illnesses. I waited 2 weeks and it didn't go down, had a video chat with a doctor who seemed worried, he put him on antibiotics incase it was infected but also ordered bloods and an ultrasound. The antibiotics are finished and he still has a lump. The bloods came back ok except for raised liver enzyme (common with infection). Today I collected him from school (I am a key worker - teacher) and he had a rash all over. Red and blotchy, the spots have joined together in some spaces. Called the doctor and they think it's just viral but am still worried and waiting for the ultrasound appointment. Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone advise me?
