I am post menopausal and have had pink water discharge and the feeling od a full bladder for a while. Called GP surgery back in September who tested my urine and was told there was blood and i probably had a urine infection so put me on antibiotics. The pain didn't go away so they put be on more antibiotics. Pain was still there but foolishlt decided to bare with it. Noticed alot more pinkish discharge in December and called the doctor again. They decided to refer me under the 2 week wait pathway. I had scan that ashowed a growth and focal adenomyosis. I went and had a hysterocopy two days later. During the consultation before the proceudre I was told that if they growth looked suspicious they woudl not be able to offer any surgery because of the COVID crisis, they woudl only be able to offer hormone treatmetn in the interim by inserting the Mirena coil. The procedure took alot longer than they had anticipated but was told that they were confident the growth was a polyp. The polyp was sent to histopathology to confirm the diagnosis. On saturday mornign i receive a letter to say that the results have come back with abnormailites and i needed an MRI scan and an appointment has been made with the consultant on Friday to discuss the results and plan. I had my MRI scan of the lower and upper abdomen and pelvis yesterday.
I also have to mention that the scan showed 10mm endometrium and i have focal adenomyosis and a prolapse.
Feeling like I don't have a lot on my side and really anxious about the appointment on Friday
