Hello.
New to this forum. Not sure I need to be here but I have a niggling worry in the back of my head.
I have been bleeding irregularly and significantly for the past 3 years (including throughout my pregnancy - son is now two). Initially was put down to pregnancy. Then breastfeeding. Then mirena coil. Finally had a scan and I have a 3cm polyp in my uterus. I haven't had a day without bleeding for a month or so. In the last 3 months I've had around 10 bleed free days.
Was referred under the two week pathway. I've had abnormal smears in the past and am worried that this abnormal bleeding has been going on for years and has been unrecognised as coming from a polyp.
I'm really scared it might be malignant. Going for urgent hysteroscopy and biopsy this week.
Has anyone any advice they can offer?
