Hi guys, I'm just looking for a little advice. 
I'm panicking myself and I'm hoping it's for nothing but I'm not sure. 
I'm only 21 but I've had many bad symptoms for a good 18 months now including irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, discharge and other pains. 
I was referred numerous times to a gynaecologist who refused to see me as "there was no significant problems" and offered me other treatments such as the combined pill and pain relief. 
a consultant then rang me only last week to ask what had been going on and has booked me an appointment to attend the hospital for a smear and other examinations in only a weeks time. 
I'm panicking because it seems very soon for them to be getting me in, especially with everything that is going on. 
any advice would be a great help,
