Large Ovarian cyst

Hi there, I was diagnosed 8 months ago with a 15cm large ovarian cyst. I have been told that the hospital has cancelled operations for the time being and feel no one can hear me. It's a scary position to be in as I worry it ruptures. I have an MRI on 16th Jan because of my backpain, is anyone else waiting like me? Il be so glad when this is over♥️

    I'm sorry your operation has been cancelled due to the pandemic. It must be very frustrating, especially as it's been 8 months since you found out about the cyst. 

    I can also understand the worries you have as a result. As these are playing on your mind, maybe you could try having a chat with your GP about this as they should be able to answer your questions and put your mind at ease. 

    Hopefully some of our members who are in similar situations will offer their support to you soon but in the meantime, I just want to wish you all the best with your MRI on Saturday.

    Hey how did you get on.

     

    im 8 weeks post natal and have had a cyst throughout whole pregnancy and caused no issues. Now, I'm having it removed but scared as doc sent me for tumour markers and having MRI Saturday. My tumour markers were elevated so anxious now. My cyst is also 15cmx13x13 and fairly visible. I was crying this morning but now thinking about it I'm fairly confident that they will sort whatever it is now

    I'm going through similar just now but though my children are very young i can't imagine dealing with it perinatally with a newborn. Just the hugest hugs. If you want to keep in touch since we're both having cysts removed then add me on here x
