Worried About My Cyst

Hi, 

 

I hope you are all well. 
 

I met with my gynaecologist last week, I have a fluid filled simple cyst on my right ovary. It's the size of a large orange. Gynaecologist also said I have excess fluid on my cervix. 
 

I have to go into the hospital for the day in 2 weeks time as they want to do an MRI and a D&C

Should I be worried about it all?

    As many of our members here will tell you, it's completely natural to be a tad worried but hopefully the results will show that the cyst on your ovary and the excess fluid on your cervix are no cause for concern.

    Hopefully you'll hear back from some of our members soon but in the meantime we're thinking of you and wishing you all the best with your MRI and D&C.
