I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with a health concern at the moment. A raised CA125 level can be an indicator of ovarian cancer however a raised level can also be caused by other conditions such as endometriosis and fibroids. 

I'm presuming that you're now waiting for an appointment with a Consultant. Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long for this but if you'd like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses in the meantime you're welcome to give them a call. Yesterday I had biopsies of my womb took and I now have a ct scan booked for sunday so hopefully I will know more by the end of next week x

Yes I bet your scared,like you I thought the worst but after having all the scans biopsies etc my bloods were raised due to a large uterine fibroid,I am presently waiting for a hysterectomy after 18months.ive had no further bleeding or pain but stomach still swells from time to time.I hope you get on OK and try not to worry to much,hopefully it will turn out to be something easily fixed xx take care x

I don't have any swelling or any typical symptoms. I tried to talk to doctor today but I dont know if she was having a bad day or what but she was basically mute unless I spoke and I got very few word replies. She tested my urine today and said I had a kidney infection and thrush, she performed my smear also. She took my ca test during my period which was very heavy and I've been told it should be done during period. So I asked for a repeat but no couldn't get it. I'm so glad your ok and the worst wasn't the case. Thank you for replying I'm just very lost at the moment xx
