Constant pain in left side of stomach and back

PLEASE HELP

For a lot of years now I have had a pain in the left side of my stomach which travels to my back. Heat seems to relieve it. 
This pain usually comes a week after my period and lasts for a week. My stomach tends to bloat. 
You can gaurentee the pain will wake me up about about 2am in the middle of the night and then again at 5am. This happens for a week and just stops until the next month. 
Also sex is extremely painful.
I have been to my doctors numerous times. I have been for a scan and no one seems to know what is wrong with me.
This pain takes over my life for one week every month, I get really bad period craps also so i have stomach pains for two weeks out of every month. 
Please help.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read of the difficulties you're having with this, I can imagine it must be frustrating and unsettling.

    Unfortunately it will be hard for anyone here to advise on this. Typically it is only your doctor who can do this, although I appreciate you have already seen them previously. The only thing to really do if it continues is to make a note of any patterns or issues and visit your doctor again to talk things through. You can always ask to see a different doctor if you don't want to see the same one again.
