I had a biopsy in December. The consultant called yesterday and said biopsy didn't collect enough cells. He compared my two ultrasounds and my thyroid lump has grown from 4.6 cm to 4.8cm with increased blood flow in it within 3 months.
It is going to panel at the hospital to decide if they should repeat the biopsy or remove it and test. Has anyone been in this situation and does anyone recommend which would be the best option?
