Yes, I have, a couple of years ago.  I also have a young son and was out of my mind with worry but I was lucky, it turned out to be a benign hormonal lump.

Hi thought I'd say that a friend of mine gets cysts a lot in her  breasts and are nothing sinister has to have them drain. Your Breasts have normal lumps and bumps. Especially with woman hormones they change.  Don't worry I'm sure it's nothing to worry about and it's good she's checking to give u piece of mine

Hi I feel your pain. I have also just posted. waiting for my appointment on Tuesday. My anxiety levels are through the roof. I suffer with quite a bit of anxiety and this isn't helping.

The anxiety is so all consuming isn't it?

I've just read your post and I can share my experience of previous visits to the breast clinic. 
You will usually see a consultant who will examine you. They will then decide if you need a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. All of these will be done at that appointment so expect to be there a few hours.

Thank you for responding. I assume you not allowed to take anyone with you? My info I got from GP says I can but that may just be old literature?

I have the GP tomorow with the same thing - so scared. Mines like a torpedo shape and feels ropey!

I'd had breast pain in my left book and it was super sensitive and then I found like a weird lump! 

That's exactly how mine felt. I had my clinic appointment last Thursday. 
I had an ultra sound and the radiographer said it was an enlarged duct, didn't look concerning at all. She did a fine needle aspiration and said she would send the fluid off because it's protocol but wasn't expecting anything sinister to come back. My consultant agreed that she is also not expecting anything to come back. 
I've not had the results yet but I'm feeling more reassured. 
I have to have a mammogram in a couple of weeks just because I'm over 35. 
try not to worry, there's a good chance yours will be the same as mine.

I'm just 35. 

Only have small breasts and I do check. I only noticed it because a couple of months ago it was agonising and swollen, but literally my period ended and it went right down.

I have not had anything like the pain since, it does become tender before my period but doesn't "hurt".

I am now left with this weird lump. But I have prodded it as you do over the last couple of days and made it tender again.
