Slightly mobile lumps in groin and neck.

Hi all,

I'm a male and 21 years of age. The past 8 months ago I had to go to hospital due to my doctors thinking I had appendicitis. Now I was quite worried at this stage as I'd never had an operation. Long story short it wasn't. 4 months before I even had these pains I noticed my lymph nodes were getting bigger in my groin and neck (mostly groin)

now I've been quite wary of my health due to my dad dying of terminal kidney cancer last year around this time. My lymph nodes in the groin haven't been causing pain but are now hard and almost have no move ability. My mum seems to think I'm a hypercondriact and it's driving me crazy. The doctor only felt one lymph node in the neck that was smaller than the rest.

anywho, recently I've been getting body aches everywhere, mostly in my left leg. Also, brushing my teeth makes me gag in the mornings and I'm feeling very fatigued not to mention itching myself which is annoying me a lot. Anyone who's had lymphoma of some sort, could you please reply if there was some similarity.

P.s also the muscle twitching and spasms. It can happen from my bottom to my back, ribs, face and arms and legs.

thanks,

m

  • Hi mistyjames3,

Firstly I'm sorry to read of what happened with your dad, and also your current worries.

If you have any medical concerns, it is only really your doctor who can advise - so I would encourage you to note any changes, concerns, and questions and then to try to speak to them again to get any answers required. Try to take any reassurance from them if they don't seem worried.

    Wishing you all the best,
