Very worried i have ovarian cancer

Hi everyone,

Sorry for long post but need some advice:

I  am 33 and had a miscarriage 6 months ago ( i have no living  children) which was all very weird. I fell pregnant the first month trying but had pain that month in my right ovary which i didn't normally have. The pain on the right ovary intensified when i found out i was pregnant and  the need to urinate was overwhelming for the first week to the point i was almost wetting myself ( sorry tmi) this was very odd as at this point i had only been pregnant a matter of days to a week and docs found this weird too as i had no infection. I was taken to hospital as the pain on my right intensified and they thought i may have an ectopic pregnancy. Fast foward another 4 to 5 weeks and after numerous scans where they had no idea where the baby was i had a laparoscopy and a d&c to remove the baby sac which held no baby and turned out to be in my uterus all along so not ectopic. They was confused why i had such bad pain on the right ovary and put it down to the miscarriage. I left hospital with 3 infections and had antibitoics to clear this. This was all back in June July time. Since then i have had bouts of tensumus and rectal pain and a raised calprotectin in which i had to have an urgent colonoscopy and endoscopy as had terrible acid and heartburn and also pain in rectum and constipation and bouts of diarrhoea and a raised calprotectin. Throughout all this I was still getting my right handed ovary pain on and off and need to urinate on and off. Periods have been getting more erratic with spotting last month almost a week before period and then bleeding for 7 days after. This month pain again and bleeding light instead but since finishing my period i constantly feel like i need to bleed, hugely bloated, can't stop weeing, right hand ovary pain and back pain on the right. Pelvic pain hurts alot and cervix feels sore. Had a TVUS 3 weeks ago and they found  a small cyst 1.5cm  (solid cyst) but said i needed a follow up and now i have all these awful symptoms and doc has also ordered a Ca125. I'm petrified as i have no idea what is going on? I also have had CIN in the past in my cervix.

  • Welcome to the forum Cheryllou although I'm very sorry for what you've been through and all the symptoms you've been contending with.

It's always scary having unexplained symptoms but hopefully the tests that are due to be carried out will get to the bottom of this for you.

I'm sure some of our members who have been in this situation will offer their support and advice to you soon but whilst you wait I just wanted to let you know we're thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed everything will be o.k.

    Kind regards,
