Hi Amielia and welcome to the forum.

It's always a tad worrying finding unexplained lumps but you've taken the right course of action so follow their advice and if the lump doesn't go away, go back and see them to find out what happens next.

Hi thanks so much for getting back to me, I'm so very worried, am considering paying private just to be able to ease my anxiety, I've done what I shouldn't do and googled all the possibilities, a hard lump , under my chin , and cancer all keep coming back , I hope I'll be able to get it sorted especially with COVID restrictions 

I have had one for a year now they've classed it as a normal lymph node and I've had two ultrasounds on my whole neck. The pain is crazy and it's not moveable like the others but that's what they say it is! 

Hi really appreciate you getting back to me, I can't sleep at night for worry , have called a private clinic to see some anyone who can help me find out what it is, did you say the lump you have is hard? Is it not moveable too?

Hey, urm no I would say it's hard doesn't move as freely as my other lymph nodes when I felt them, I have a few though. I found it easier to move (only so slightly) when my chin was touching my chest so tucking it down and I could feel some the other side but much smaller and moveable! I've had two scans though and apparently it's okay

Hi I'm 15 and have this lump under my chin in the left side kinda... it's hard and moves slightly side to side and is tender when I touch it, is this the same as urs?

Mine is under my chin and it's hard in 15 and very scared it is hard moves kind of and hurts and it's about the same size the tip of my index finger is this the same as you?
