  • Hello Clarkson

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's recent diagnosis. Understandably it's a difficult time for you both.

As I'm sure you probably remember from when you received your own diagnosis, it's not uncommon for people to go into shock when the news of cancer is given. We do have some information on our website about cervical cancer which may be of help to you but if you are attending the next appointment with your daughter then you may want to write down any questions that you both have before you attend. That way you won't forget to ask anything and you'll be able to jot down any information you're given at the appointment.

Hopefully your daughter will hear soon about her next appointment and the Consultant will be able to give her some news about possible treatment options. If in the meantime you'd like to call our team of nurses for some advice and support you're welcome to give them a call. They are back in the office on Tuesday 29th December (9am to 5pm) on 0808 800 4040.

Do let us know how she gets on.

    Best wishes,
