My mum had a covid scare, but test was negative. Rapid weight loss, chest pain and fatigue - the GP thought it could be cancer (previous breast cancer) - so did a blood test and X-ray. Blood test was clear, but X-ray showed a potential growth just not clear. Another X-ray has been done and the GP now wants to discuss the findings over the phone and has booked an appointment for Christmas Eve - anyone have any thoughts on this? If it was good news surely that would have been given straight away? Confused why the two day delay?!

                            sorry to hear of your mum,its never easy to see the ones you love suffering.The delay may come about to hear about treatment options for the issue that has been discovered from the consultant and their team,but this does not mean it has to be cancer,it could be some other problem,but the same process would still apply, ie diagnosis--treatment plan..The waiting is a killer,but at least you have not too much longer to go.Good luck and l hope it turns out to be better news than you currently fear,
