Lymphoma scare awaiting results

Hi everyone, this is all totally new to me never been on anything like this before.. but here we go.

In October 2020 I had a lump removed from my forearm after weeks of doctors telling me it was an insect bite, I wasn't having any of it and finally got an appointment with a dermatologist who said that lump needs removing for investigation. Finally someone was listening to me.
The lump was removed and sent away, I never heard anything for around 3 weeks which by then I'd told myself no news was good news right?! I then got phone call, from a doctor I'd never spoken to before.. saying my sample needed further investigation as it's showing cells related to a lymphoma. I was in total shock.

Since this phone call I've been worrying so so much. Any how I finally got an appointment through with a specialist lymphoma doctor at a cancer centre near by, instantly I thought well if I'm seeing a specialist doctor in lymphoma at a cancer centre ... I've got cancer.

Today was that dreaded day, off I go with my partner to see this doctor. Unfortunately I was told my biopsy results still weren't ready for a diagnosis to be given, I was sent for numerous blood tests and a X-ray. Full examination given and 3 swollen lymph nodes found in my right armpit.
I walked out my appointment none the wiser, have I got lymphoma or haven't I?!!!! Very frustrated waiting and wondering.

Has any body else found this process for them similar? I feel positive that there's no need to 'rush' my results back to me but in the same breath I'm worrying that there is something underlying here.

Please let me know if anyone is in or has been in the same situation as me. It would really help me while I wait for results. Thanks xx
