I'm sorry to hear that you've noticed some changes in your breast.

It's good to hear that you already have a GP appointment arranged but if you're concerned that things are continuing to change then do get in touch with your GP surgery who may be able to offer you an appointment sooner.

So I went to the breast clinic and she didn't seem overly concerned. She is still going to send me for a ultrasound scan to just double check. Should I be worried? Or is there really no problem? Could she have missed something on my examination? Is it a good thing that I have to wait for a couple of weeks? 

She said it is more than likely just fatty tissue. 

Could something still show up on the scan?

I am glad to hear that the doctor you saw didn't seem too concerned. She has however done the right thing in referring you for an ultrasound, as this is the only way to be absolutely certain that there is nothing untoward there.

It is normal to have to wait about 2 weeks, or even slightly longer in some clinics, with the delays caused by the current pandemic.
