Beginning of December I was admitted via A&E for abdominal pain.  Fast forward 3 days and emergency surgery to remove my ovary, fallopian tube & multilocular cyst.

All a bit of a shock, for all I signed a consent form for everything, the expectation was purely cyst removal.

The communication after the process has unfortunately been lacking and I have only found the information our because I rang the hospital in lieu of any detail.

Anyway, I know that the biopsy results are with the consultant to report.  The not knowing is really affecting my MH, lack of sleep, appetite etc, all on top of surgery recovery.

I am 49 and just starting the menopause, the odd cycle that goes awol, night sweats for 2 years or so.

Anyine been in a similar situation?
