Looking for some advise regarding a recent MRI test for my neck which showed an enlarged lymph node. I had my doctor call me a 2 days ago to tell me they spotted this and how she wanted me to have an urgent blood test and ultrasound done. They hounded me the next day and made me rush off to get the blood test done to which the results were back a 8 hours later! Since then no doctor has discussed my results with me as they are fully booked but receptionist said they seem to be fine. 
But being my anxious self this has just made me worry more thinking as it's not an infection it must be something more serious. The fact that it showed up in my MRI scan is concerning me even more. I've been told I need to relax as if something was serious it would have shown up in my blood test and docs would have contacted me by now but I can't help but panic  

Has anyone experienced this testing process before? How long before I get my urgent ultrasound done? How does one keep calm in the meantime and not worry? I can't keep breaking down at work
