Ultrasound grade 4 found 4 lumps and slight changes to lymph

Hi,

I am in absolute shock today. Went for a check up due to quite big grape size mobile lump. The doctor who checked told me she is not entirely concerned as it is very mobile. During scan I was put in a serious shock mode. The radiologist found in fact 4 lumps, 1 definitely irregular shaped as well as 3 slightly enlarged lymph nodes. Left with ultrasound grade 4 and an absolute shock. I have 2 young kids and my baby is only 9 months old. Anyone is going through similar experience? How do I cope? Had two biopsies and need to wait for two weeks.9

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently found some lumps which have needed to be biopsied. I think many of our members here will understand how difficult this period of waiting for results can be.

It's can help to talk things through so if you'd like to talk to one of our nurses they're available next week Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. I'm sure that they will be able to offer you some advice and reassurance ahead of your results.

I know it's difficult but try to take things a day at a time and not look too far ahead to the future. It will help you feel less anxious.

Do let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
