I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with some health concerns at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling worried given that you lost both your parents to cancer. 

As things don't seem to have improved it would be sensible to get back in touch with your Gp who can advise you further about possible medications or arrange for any investigations that may be appropriate. 

I do hope that things improve soon.

Hello ,I was refered ENT and they said I had an slighlty swollen part of my throat that may be causing the problem caused by acid reflux ,they advised me to take gaviscon advance for 3 months ,so I have about 2 months to go ,but at the moment its not much better maybe slighlty. If you try Gaviscon it has to be gaviscon advance as the normal type is not as effective.

But if you have a feeling of a lump then you should go to the docs and insist on a referal to ENT the camera is not unpleasant as they go through your nose and put some anesthetic there so you done feel anything ,they need to look to see if there is anything else going on.

The gaviscon needs to be taken after each main meal and before you go to bed
