HPV and high grade (moderate) dyskaryosis

Hi all, 

I've just had the letter this morning to say they found the above at my recent smear.

Im just in a bit of a spin. Can anyone help me with what to expect, or has anyone been through similar recently?

I did the worst thing possible and hit Google as soon as i opened the letter and now I just don't know what to do with myslef

    I'm sorry to hear that your cervical screening results have come back showing some changes. It's not uncommon for women to worry when they hear this news but I wanted to signpost you to some really helpful information on the Jo's Trust website that may help reassure you. 

    There is some useful information about HPV and cell changes which should answer lots of your questions. Jo's Trust also have a telephone helpline and I'm sure if you get in touch they will be able to offer some advice and support. The information is available on the links I've included above. 

    I hope that you don't have to wait too long to be seen by the specialist and that things are resolved quickly.
