Testicle pain

Hi abit embarrassing but I'm 19 and for the past over 3 months now I've been getting problems with my left testicle I keep getting a pulling sensation in it and a throbbing pain when I need to urinate/defecate also im struggling to go to the toilet to defecate and my testicle keeps going backwards for unknown reason and my right one is almost in front of it. I've taken antibiotics for what my gp though was a cyst but it's gotten bigger and areas of the skin around it have gotten hard hard I'm really worried and I haven't been able to get an appointment also I've been getting pains in my Adam's apple, thyroid area and the right side of my neck which is also abit swollen and whenever I swallowed it's as if something is stuck in my throat I'm not sure if these problems could be in anyway related but they seemed to have started around the same time and I don't know what to do any advice would be great thanks

im not sure if I've put it in the right category sorry

  • As I noticed this is your first post with us, I thought I might stop by to say hello and welcome you to the forum, Cal1712.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. If your symptoms don't go away after the prescribed round of antibiotics, perhaps it's a good idea to give your GP another call to see if they can help?

Hopefully, other Cancer Chat members who have gone through a similar experience will stop by soon to chat with you and offer advice but until then, if you feel like speaking to someone medically trained might help please know that our friendly team of nurses would be happy to take your call on this number: 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday, between 9 a.m - 5 p.m.

I hope you feel better soon, Cal1712, and that what is causing your symptoms turn out to be nothing sinister.

    Best wishes,

    Renata, Cancer Chat Moderator
