On Friday I found a lump in my right boob. I check my boobs every week (probably a little too often, I know) and I've never felt this lump before. I called the doctor and they told me to come in that morning so a doctor could check me over. 

The doctor felt the lump and said she was referring me for a scan. All she said was that it was very unlikely to be cancer as I'm only 26 but it's best to be safe. I have to wait for a letter from the hospital so I can go for my scan. 

on Friday the lump was really prominent and I could feel it very easily. It was extremely hard and round. A few days later, the lump is there but not as prominent and I can't feel it as easily as I could on Friday. 

im so nervous about the scan and I'm so worried that it might be cancer. Waiting for the letter to come through about the scan is torture. I'm my own worst enemy and have done far too much googling and I've gotten myself into such a panic.
