Bowel cancer?

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing ok.

please could I ask about symptoms I'm having. The past 3 weeks I have been very bloated and constipated. I cannot pass anymore than a very small amount of narrow stool. I have lost about a stone in a month. I haven't noticed any blood, I just can't go! I've had movicol and it just creates an urgency and almost water but doesn't clear anything completely. I do have back pain and abdo pain with this. I have seen a GP and bloods and FITT test have come back normal. Should I still be worried??? I am 35, I have known IBS but never had this constipation before. GP has now referred me to a gastro specialist

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having symptoms that are causing you to be concerned about having bowel cancer, but I'm glad that your GP didn't find anything worrisome so far.

    If your symptoms persist, it might be a good idea to phone your GP again to have them further investigated, as they're the only ones who would be able to tell you if what you're experiencing right now is something to be concerned about.
