Have a lump near rib cage went to doctor yesterday he examined me said not overly concerned about it but will get ultrasound done for my own sanity as I suffer from bad anxiety but I'm wondering if he just saying that because of me worrying or he genuinely means he ain't worried about it my anxiety is away sky hi

    I find Doctors know when to be concerned and when not to, I'm sure they've examined thousands of lumps and bumps. I have a lump near my rib cage but I wasn't worried as it was movable and soft so I knew it was a lipoma but had an ultrasound anyway to confirm. Anxiety is awful but try not to obsess over this and trust the expertise of your GP.
