H Pylori

Was wondering if I could ask if anyone who knows or been diagnosed with stomach cancer have H Pylori or ever have! I've recently been diagnosed and my nan and 2 her sisters had stomach cancer and I'm so worried. Doctors tell me it's not a bad bacteria or connected only if been there a long long time but I Jsut wanted to find this for myself. I'm only 37 with 3 children so it's worrying me

Hi, Yes,I have had this ten years ago and was treated with a course of tablets which got rid of it. I have had secondary Breast cancer for nearly 7 years but have never had any spread of problems with my stomach. Hope this helps. Regards Lynn

Ok so not connected to stomach! I'm only 37 and really worried!! Read some have had it with diagnosis!! Sorry to hear about your breast cancer - wishing you all the best

Hi, Sorry didn't make myself clear, it is an infection in the stomach, the only sympton I had was heartburn and I have read you are more likely to get stomach cancer if you have it, I meant that I have never had any stomach problems since then and definately no cancer spread to the stomach and hopefully won't in the future.
