I had a biopsy taken last week and am awaiting results. The Consultant thought it was fat tissue, just wondering if this is obvious for the trained eye/whether there is still a likelihood it may come back malignant.
I'm sorry to hear that you've recently needed a breast biopsy. The Consultant will have based their suspicions on what this lump is based on any ultrasound or mammogram that you had at your appointment along with their clinical experience. However it's the biopsy that will give the definitive answers about what is going on for you.
