I'm sorry you are going through this worry it's such an awful feeling isn't it 

I went to my GP on Tuesday as I've discovered a lump in my left breast and it also feels really lumpy and swollen 

Its great you have your appointment so soon ! I haven't even had a date through which is difficult as I don't think I'll get it until after Christmas ( although I'm on a 2 week referral) 

Ive actually bruised my boob where I've been feeling the lump so much

When I wake I check to see if the lump has gone

It's awful all this worry isn't it but it's great to talk to someone else who knows how you feel everyone is really supportive but don't really fully understand.

my appointment will be two weeks to the day I saw the doctor they sent me a text the day after I saw the doctor with my appointment which felt better as I wasn't having to wait for a letter, I hope you get yours soon maybe you could phone the hospital and see if they have a date they   might tell you over the phone.

Yes it's so nice to be able to speak to others in the same boat 

I totally relate  

My daughters and husband are all supportive but I keep breaking down and getting upset 

It's the unknown ? Knowing that life might change ? 
 

I rang the local breast clinic as on their website they said due to Covid the referral period  would be increased to 3 weeks , I thought I'd double check this was correct and unfortunately it is 

I contacted our private local hospital too but they said it would be quicker to go through the NHS 

If it was t for Christmas I think I could cope a little better ? But trying to put on a brave face over the festive period is going to be tricky 

I know I have to be positive, I'm really trying but at times I get overwhelmed with the ' what's ifs ' 

Sorry to rant on

I'm exactly the same go from being really positive to how would I tell my kids and my mum just before Christmas. 
we can try keep each other positive and fingers crossed we are both fine.

I had an appointment for what I thought was a lump got into my car then get a call from the doctors has your nipplr always been different no i noticed it about 2 months ago but thought its where im getting older this was tuesday so friday comes along check the letterbox and there is a lettee with all my login details to make my appointment so i go on there and my appointment has been made for me, rach I'm in the same boat but i already have my date and time for my appointment still doesn't stop me worrying, not been able to sleep at all over the last 2 night's cancer runs in my family so definitely even more worried.

Awwww I'm totally with you on the lack of sleep malarkey, and when I do sleep I wake up feeling so anxious 

To be honest I'm not pretty sure that when I get my appointment through it'll send me into overdrive?!? I'm just an emotional wreck

21st of this month, you know when you got a gut feeling and its never been wrong in the past, ive got that now gut is telling me it's bad new's.

Going to call the hospital where im going to so i can make sure my partner is allowed to be there it say's on the letter that he can come so all being well hopefully hes allowed
