Hi everyone, 

i wanted to share my experience as I visited and read this forum 1000 times! 
I had my smear test in September, came back with HPV and low grade dyskaryosis. I was so scared and worried as I hadn't received my letter and just had the phone call. Was invited for colposcopy 5 weeks later. So for the next 5 weeks I was worried sick, I'm an over thinker and a worrier at the best of times but this wasn't nice. I spoke to the doctor, the helpline on this forum so many times! 
Went for my colposcopy, the examination was fine, didn't hurt at all and the doctor and nurses were so lovely and patient They took a biopsy and said my results would take up to 4 weeks. I was even more worried at this point, again spoke to the doctor and the helpline on this forum. The reassurance helped but still was worried about getting results. I have just received my biopsy results this morning and it's came back all clear and just have to go back for another colposcopy in a years time. 
Anyone who is reading this and are scared/anxious/worried, please know that you are not alone, there are millions of women in the same situation but I hope this can give you some reassurance.
